Job Description

Job Purpose: To support the Cloud and Software Team in expanding business opportunities by, for example, identifying potential opportunities and proposing solutions tailored to clients' needs, aiding in the tender processes, and supplying both internal and external business support to Mustek Cloud and Software customers, among other tasks.

Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Support the Cloud & Software Team in enhancing the run-rate business.
  • Increase Mustek's market presence and visibility in Cloud and Software.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering to design solutions based on client needs.
  • Assist with tender processes.
  • Conduct demonstrations and proof of concept for Mustek Solutions.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of sold solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high standard of service quality through comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the work area.
  • Keep the Salesforce pipeline updated continuously.
  • Develop a sound understanding of market demands.
  • Foster and sustain positive relationships with partners and end-users.
  • Participate in necessary training for skill enhancement and maintain annual certifications.
  • Organize and attend meetings involving relevant stakeholders.
  • Travel regionally as needed.
  • Be available for after-hours work as required.
  • Uphold a growth-oriented mindset.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Nurture relationships with partners and end-users while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Revise and follow up on previous quotes as part of courtesy calls.
  • Conduct courtesy calls to customers.
  • Grasp the distinct and varied business needs of customers and leverage product knowledge to address those needs.
  • Advocate for the Mustek Eco System to partners and end-users.
  • Provide feedback from weekly/daily customer visits.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Matric or Grade 12.
  • A tertiary qualification in commerce is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales within the end-user and partner sectors.
